What causes wheel damage?
Damage is not always visible to the naked eye. You may notice a vibration in your steering wheel, your car may pull to one side or you may even have a slow leak. These are all signs of a bent or cracked wheel. Wheels can be damaged easily by pot holes, speed bumps, curbs, off-road activities, & shipping. Some wheels are even bent straight from the factory!
I hit a pot hole. Could my wheel be damaged?
Pot holes can cause damage to your wheels and your tires! Wheels are designed to have more support towards the front edge making the back edge more vulnerable to damage. The damage is not always visible. You may feel a vibration in the car at higher speeds, one or all of your tires may have slow leaks, which are all signs of a bent wheel. It is best to get your wheel(s) fixed fairly quickly as it can cause severe damage to your tires and wheel bearings!
